I mounted mine to wood siding, simply found a stud and bolted the mount to it through the siding.

My buddy had vinyl siding and wound upwards mounting the tv to the ceiling of his covered patio. it has similar a 2 pes pole, kinda like a fan, that it hangs from, looks squeamish.

Just snug upward mounting bracket to siding. Won't be seen and shouldn't be crushed..

I thought most mounting it to the patio roof too. That may be my all-time choice

Also considered the standoffs. But don't desire information technology to await bad or screw upward the siding

That why I went with the heavy duty one, and Big Kids(Drunken friends) will like to hang on them.

i bought this one and it came in yesterday. I volition exist mounting it this weekend outside to vinyl siding under my patio. Just make sure to hit the stud and all should be fine. If yous don't want the siding to crush i would advise making the pigsty for the lag screws large enough so the head of the screw goes past the siding that sticks out.

I thought nigh doing the aforementioned above my exterior bar but I live on a saltwater canal and shite doesn't last outside so I recollect I will merely settle for bringing the boob tube downstairs anytime I want to set upwards on the bar

Bolt two 2x4s horizontally to the wall studs on top of the vinyl siding using lag bolts. You could put a few washers on the lag bolts underneath the 2x4 if you wanted spacers to go along from crushing the vinyl. Then bolt the tv mount to the 2x4s.

non on Vinyl just on wood. Cut the vertical supports to fit the siding. Caulk to fill in gaps. Use a cheap mount within the box so you can either crush or cut a hole and it will non matter.

I'd cutting holes in the siding where the mount will contact wall and mount to forest behind if it's under a covered patio.

Worst case, pieces of vinyl siding ares cheap as shite.

I just hung an older twoscore" on vinyl using a standard mountain from harbor freight with no problems. You should have adept wood under the vinyl to attach your wood screws to.

Mount a 2x4 across the wood frame in your attic and lag bolt it to that. Definitely a ii man job.
